Best evahh - my new review

The best flat pedal shoes I've ever had, light weight, stylish, very sticky but durable sole, great grip on the bike in the dirt. By no means waterproof, but dries in no time. Cool on your feet

Pros
  • The shoe is black for a sleek and stylish look that is perfect for any rider.
Cons
  • No finger protection

Too small - my new rating

They run small, I'm 10 1/2 and they send the right size but it doesn't fit, they are too tight and the length is also small, they have to make wide shoes, they are good but too small

Pros
  • The shoe is ideal for riders who need a high level of performance on technical trails and in all weather conditions.
Cons
  • There is no way to broad toe

A downside to great cycling shoes

These are great shoes for walking after a bike ride without having to change shoes. Hike-a-bike is more comfortable because the rubber floor is more flexible. Grip with flat pedals is amazing. For me personally, it's also a great shoe to look at. And here is my first world problem. The material around the shoe opening, also called the collar and tongue of the shoe, is not comfortable for the ankle. There's not much indentation at all, don't know why it's not mentioned more. There is some…

Pros
  • Precisely!
Cons
  • Not enough filling

Great product from 5/10

I've been on quite a few rides so far and now that fall has come they're still working hard. Great grip on the pedals, great feeling after riding all day. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good mountain bike shoe!

Pros
  • The best purchase I've made in MTB shoes. Perfect for desert trails!
Cons
  • Shoelaces can be easily untied

Stunning, comfortable, breathable, durable

Super grippy on my pegs. Comfortable for everyday wear (adidas is always good on my feet - neutral, medium arch). Really breathable these days in SoCal, but just enough to hold up against sagebrush and branches on those narrow trails.

Pros
  • The shoe offers sufficient support and stability and reduces the risk of injury during intensive rides.
Cons
  • The sole falls off easily

Killer mountain bike shoes! Great for Hawaiian weather :))

Super light, very breathable and super comfortable. The only real problem was that it took a long time to ship, almost 3 weeks. I know it's Hawaii and all, but the soccer jerseys arrived from Italy 4 days after purchase. Don't worry anyway, just wish they shipped faster ;) killer shoes anyway :)

Pros
  • Don't listen to those who say you have to order less. They fit exactly into your normal size.
Cons
  • Limited size options

The most uncomfortable shoes for wide feet.

I wear a size 13 which is much bigger than my foot. These shoes are absolutely terrible unless you have very narrow feet. I'm a size 14 but it's still too tight. Just wearing shoes for a 20 minute ride made my feet feel like they were on fire because there are so many hot spots.

Pros
  • The shoes are endorsed by the prestigious Five Ten brand, which guarantees quality and reliability.
Cons
  • Shoes are not waterproof

Perfect MTB shoes in my review.

These shoes feel amazing and stick to the pedal like glue. The best Five Ten shoes I've ever bought. I wear width 9.5 and size 10 fits perfectly. Ideal for horseback riding and hiking.

Pros
  • Great fit
Cons
  • BAD DESIGN. WANT TO RETURN, CANNOT RETURN, DO NOT BUY THESE SHOES, BEWARE!!!!

Sticks to the pedal like glue

This shoe runs true to size. I tried a size smaller as suggested by many reviews but it didn't work for me. I went by my true size, so if you normally wear a 10.5, order a 10.5. Comfortable and stylish shoes for cycling. Sticks to the pedal like glue. Highly recommended!

Pros
  • The shoe is available in a size 10.5, which offers the perfect fit for most riders.
Cons
  • Poor bow support

Last rating too narrow

Size 9.5 was perfect in length but too tight so sent back. I bought 510 Freerider in size 9.5 and the length and width was perfect.

Pros
  • The shoes have received positive reviews from other riders, indicating their superior performance and comfort.
Cons
  • The price doesn't match the quality

Good shoes ... in my review

Hard uncomfortable shoes. This is not the shoe that was in the past after being bought out by Adidas. Reminds me of the shoes I bought at Kmart as a kid. Looks like they'll last a while.

Pros
  • I can wear it as a mountain bike shoe or as a casual shoe, very comfortable.
Cons
  • The eyelet area rubs the side of my foot in the ankle area.

AMAZING MTB SHOES! in my opinion

Great shoe for mountain bikes! I was looking for a good pair of MTBs and most of them didn't work EXCEPT for this one. They are breathable, comfortable and beautiful. It holds my pedals very well. They are easy to clean, hose down and dry quickly. They are a bit big but I have wide feet so I took my normal size to compensate for the width. I highly recommend these shoes!

Pros
  • The shoe is designed to be lightweight, making it easy to wear and maneuver while riding.
Cons
  • Inadequate ankle padding

Disappointed with your rating.

I ordered my normal size and they seem to be too long. They are not as well made as 5ten pro. Ignore the tread pattern as it snags on my pedals and makes it difficult to get my foot in the right place. The narrow toe box doesn't offer much protection. I should have bought a few more pluses.

Pros
  • The shoes feel glued to the pedal and are very comfortable.
Cons
  • Long break-in period

Great style, bad performance

Very comfortable ascent, but on the descent it suffers. The outsole is significantly less stiff than other FiveTen models. I want to keep them because they look cool but my arches hurt after the first ride. The return process cost over $10 and a headache.

Pros
  • The product was half a size larger than expected. Sent back with no problems and received a correct size replacement a few days later.
Cons
  • thick sock

Glue like soles to my review.

I can't believe how sticky the grippy soles are. Great. And they are true to size. I wear 11 and they fit perfectly. Very satisfied

Pros
  • The shoes are breathable and will keep your feet cool and comfortable on long rides.
Cons
  • Upper is easy to crack

Good shoes: my rating

I usually wear size 11 shoes. I ordered a size 11 and they were great for me. Went back and ordered a size 10 1/2 which fits better. They are comfortable, have a good grip, are light and suitable for getting off the bike.

Pros
  • Engineered specifically for mountain biking, the Five Ten Trailcross LT Mountain Bike Shoes offer superior performance and comfort.
Cons
  • The sole is too hard

After taking these shoes for 2 days of mountain biking in the DuPont State Forest in North Carolina, I can say that I would happily buy them before buying a freeride model. Lightweight, breathable, quick-drying shoe with reliable toe protection from rocks and roots on the trail. So far they've been fairly badly beaten on almost 100 miles of rides but show no signs of major damage. Strong pedal traction on even the roughest terrain I've encountered. The 510 brand is a true mountain bike shoe for

Pros
  • The shoe has a reinforced toe box for extra protection and durability.
Cons
  • Heel cup does not stay in place

Excellent shoes the best in my rating

I ordered half a size smaller and it's still too roomy. But they are sooooo good and persistent, I kept them. They are also great for getting wet. Dries quickly and is odorless.

Pros
  • The cycling shoes are made of high quality materials that ensure durability and longevity.
Cons
  • Not true to size

Excellent light, grippy and comfortable shoe

These are great flat cycling shoes with great grip, comfortable and will keep you cool in hot weather. In terms of fit I recommend sizing down the shoe as others have posted and if you have a wide foot beware they are not wide and are great for narrow feet.

Pros
  • Excellent fit and comfort. Excellent support
Cons
  • Shoe tongue slips

Ideal! -- my new rating

It was way more than I expected. It fits great. The look was spot on. Great shoes. I will order these shoes in another color.

Pros
  • The shoe fits well and has extra stiffness for pedaling. The upper eyes are hard and can dig into the skin when wearing competition socks.
Cons
  • Difficulty holding the pedals well
