These are great winter boots for kids who don't like real boots touching their calves. They look great too, he wears them to school every day. They don't look slim at all, but they're a little tight on him. I wish they were a little wider.

My son refused to wear boots to school all day (though not the most comfortable for cross applesauce) these are a great solution. More of a hybrid between snowshoes and running shoes, they give your child the flexibility and comfort of a running shoe and the warmth and protection of a boot. I'm so glad I stumbled across these as they are the perfect solution for my son from gym class to outdoor breaks and in between (most of the day) in the classroom.

I originally bought a pair to try as my child doesn't like to lose/forget things like boots. He liked them so much that they became his everyday winter shoes, and then his spring and summer shoes. He abused her and they moved on. They're not waterproof enough to jump through puddles and not warm enough to climb Everest, but for regular school use they'll keep you dry and cozy without overheating. And they won't hurt your wallet as your kids grow to a new size every week. Stylish and functional.
