My analysis of this particular swivel shows that it is not designed to handle the pressure that comes with automotive plumbing. The plastic material used is flimsy, and you can feel it degrade after even a couple of uses. Unfortunately, this product that promises convenience does not deliver, making it a waste of your time and money.

These are used in those swivel/finger tight plastic water hoses in motorhomes/caravans where the pipe connects to a hot water tank etc. It is these rubber bushings that often leak. I will keep them in our van in case we need them.

SAVE SOME in stock on field repairs if you have PEX pipe fittings or valves in your RV or home. Mobile delivery truck repair teams trying to use your old broken seals. Provide them with your own new parts to avoid leaks. An inexpensive item that can be stowed away in the spares basket. Don't leave home without a dietary supplement.
