🏡 Courtyard Floodlight: Familite Controll Waterproof Solution Review

I bought them to light up the house for Halloween. After being outside for about 3-4 weeks they started acting strange. Now one doesn't turn on at all and the other just flashes red. I noticed moisture in the pears. They're clearly not waterproof and the IP65 rating they claim is bullshit when a little rain can cause them to fail.

I used 6 of these lights for Halloween under the front porch of my house, they gave off really good color and light. In order to make them change color I had to stand directly under them with the remote control, the range of the remote control was not that good. I also used the setting to change colors automatically and it worked fine. If you're looking for white light this may not work, it has a slight blue cast to it, otherwise I'm happy with these lamps.

I was skeptical as most of the feedback and questions weren't aimed at my specific application. However, I decided to give it a try. First I bought two to try. They worked better than expected. Good brightness with full color. Then I added two more. Still worked great. Now I have eight people lined up in my backyard. One remote controls all eight.
