Flukers 66036 Corner Hermit Medium Review

Our hermit crab Houdini has become much more active since we bought him a bigger house. I can tell that he loves water bowls and sometimes even uses them for swimming. It's in the corner of the tank and I've put sand on the edge of that spot for easy access, although I'd recommend brushing the sand out from time to time if that's your plan. I love the aesthetic it adds to its surroundings.

Bought for a hermit crab enclosure. I misread the description and this thing was way bigger (and heavier) than I expected! Thank goodness I didn't order a large one. Although I was surprised by the size of my wine, the bowl matches the description. It's nicely beveled at the edges and easily fits in a corner. And despite the small (natural?) holes in the bottom, the bowl holds plenty of water and doesn't leak.

I love this dish - I bought 2 to feed hermit crabs, one for regular food and one for calcium. The contents remain sealed and you cannot tip or pull the bowl. BUT I have found that this cookware gets dirty very easily and have therefore decided to stop using it for regular/wetter food. It soaked up the moisture from the honey I put in it and made everything else stick to the bowl leaving a black stain.
