Easy to use and great protection for frozen food. You will need to purchase a small portable exhaust fan to use with these bags, which will charge and last a very long time between uses. I think avoiding freezer burn on my long-term frozen foods is worth it.

It's great. I used to use a ziplock version with a manual seal pump, but they are no longer available. This bag is softer and more pliable than Ziploc and will hold much tighter to any shape of food. Gallon size bags have a large gusset at the bottom so they hold much more than gallon size Ziploc bags. Works very well with Ziploc vacuum pump.

As other reviews have mentioned I have also encountered a very high failure rate on these locking bags. About 50% of the bags used so far are not airtight. The problem is with the suction port, because once the air is deflated, you can hold your finger over the port and it will hold the vacuum; After releasing your finger, the air will be let in again.

Years ago when I first used their bags they were overpriced and had many rejections. I switched to Rainbow until they stopped making them and switched to Ziploc. I use a Foodsaver all the time. I buy in bulk and use my freezer. The only frustration I have is not being able to leave it on the counter (space is limited) so when I use it I have to pull out the machine and cut up the packets. This is an excellent product. As a single who loves to cook, this product is excellent. I can make a big meal for dinner, bag the leftovers, vacuum them up and store them in the freezer for a while if needed. To warm up a dish, I just dip it in a pot of boiling water for a while and that's it. I also use them to store some baking ingredients.
