The holes are not big enough. You have to drill bigger.

The pin holes are nowhere near large enough for the bike models shown. I had to drill more of them, which wasn't a huge issue for me, but it can be a serious inconvenience for some.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

NOT an exact fit.

Great spikes and fairly wide pins. However, they did not fit my 2000 XR80R without a larger pivot hole. They should contain springs, otherwise the standard springs are too wide.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small house
Cons
  • Slightly torn

The footrests didn't fit.

First the pins to fix the 8mm pins, hole in the 6mm pins, reaming is required. The return springs did not fit, the springs had to be changed. After the pins were adjusted to the frame mounts, they tilted about 30 degrees, which required machining to straighten them. What should have taken 20 minutes took all day.

They will not fit the XR100 as advertised

Looks good but nowhere near as good. The pin holes should be small for standard pins. You need to drill to the correct diameter. Stock springs will not work with this item, so you don't have the option to fold if the bike tips over. The pin's leg must be too machined to try to make it work, not inside the pin hanger. Here is the red cover. paper weight $40.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Empty

As the name suggests the footpegs are a very pretty pink color that is appropriate for a 150cc lady scooter but not the best look for black on black with RED KLR 650 accents They don't fit in any way, you have to drill them out to get a crappy loose footrest. Now the construction and materials seemed great! They are very large compared to standard pens and certainly offer more grip.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Doesn't go with everything

Sur Ron Owners: Body & Frame Hardware

These pins appear to be well made but will not attach directly to your Sur Ron without modification.1) Fasteners not included. The Sur Ron pin is 1/4" in diameter, so you will need to drill the pins to fit the larger pin. Easy to do. 2) The pins do not lie flat. Not a big deal as you can file them down and adjust them to lay flat in the mount. 3) Sur Ron machine heads come with two left hand springs. I'm buying two Sur Ron bikes and they both have two left springs. You will need the correct nib

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Security
