The belt is wider than the measurements given in the description. A plus - the shutter as in the photo. I would not have bought if the measurements were accurate with the product. I'm keeping it because the buckle looks nice. He can do something about it. Hope this helps someone else

I'm a size 32 I bought a 36 to give extra room and it still barely fits. I got it at the last notch and there's barely enough play to get it through the first belt loop on my jeans. The belt is listed as a size 36 and has a total length of 41 inches. So let's assume that sizing should be based on waist measurement and not belt length. It is too small and will never fit a person who is actually a size 36. It's closer to size 28/30.

This particular product is not as good as the store version. I bought the same belt at a department store a little over a year ago. It looks the same on the outside, right down to the "FOSSIL" lettering on the belt loop. The quality of the material is not even close. The material of the one you just bought seems cheap and not worth the price.

Shiny thin leather glued to cardboard. Do yourself a favor and stay away if you want quality leather. I have an older/same model of this belt and it is NOT the same quality. 100% US leather belts are available for just under $60 at other Bullhide Belts stores and many other places and will last a long time.
