I've been fiddling with this thing for about an hour and a half. I read and watched videos on You Tube. Some Canon 5D Mark III users claim that it works. It's either defective, the battery is dead, or it just doesn't work on my model. I give up.

Great product, fast delivery and great price! Would recommend to anyone who needs a trigger. The only thing was that there were no instructions included with the kit, so I had to figure out how to turn on the camera to see the wireless remote. Otherwise great purchase!

I have tested this remote on my T6i and 60D and it works the same as the Canon OEM remote. It uses a CR-2025 button cell battery that comes with the remote control. It doesn't come with a small collar holder like the OEM does, but I think you can find it somewhere on Revain as well. This is an inexpensive replacement for Canon's official OEM remote control if you lose it or it somehow breaks.
