Flash Adapter & Instructions Not Included

For the price, it is a pretty good piece of kit. Comes with the diffuser sock and the honeycomb grid. I was buying it to use with my Canon ETTL strobes; it DOES NOT come with the strobe adapter. That will set you back ANOTHER $30-$40. There are NO INSTRUCTIONS with the beauty dish. You are left to your own to assemble. Not a big problem except when determining which way to face the diffusing disk. The finish on the inside of the dish is very nice and gives a nice reflection. I cannot say that…

Came with an extra part ?

Good product for the price. I got the one for Alien Bees. Mine came through (fulfilled by Best Buy) with no damage, but the packaging was just barely adequate. The three little rods that hold the central reflector looked like the ones in the pictures with little nuts to screw on the ends.There was something funny about the adapter ring for Alien Bees. The adapter ring was composed of two parts held together with four screws. The first was a thin, stamped sheet metal, dish shaped ring designed…

Great budget buy in my review

Got this for my Alien Bee 1600. I did not want to an expensive dish so I went with Fotodix. So far it looks and works like it's supposed to.
