Amazing size! The side pockets are perfect for the 12oz Klean Kanteen. My plan to be able to detach and attach the straps to make the Cary a shoulder bag also works well. It's amazing to be able to carry your back to the backpack when you're just headed to the car or bus for long walks. The only complaint is the location of the D-rings for the belts. They are too close together and dig into my back when I wear them.
