Fox Run 5231 Vegetable Plastic Review

I only use it to clean corn stalks. I liked my old one more, which was smaller (it was easier to store) and had shorter, denser bristles (corn stalks were barely soaked in it), but it was over 25 years old. old and the bristles broke fairly regularly. This works fine.

After 30 pounds of potatoes, the bristles on both sides become flat. The work of reshaping the bristles with your thumbs extends the life of this brush, but I didn't have to do that with my previous brush, which I used for fifteen years. I think it will take a few years but this product has nothing to offer.

I just bought a second brush. I had the last one for many years. I use mine as a washcloth for plates/pans. The one I ended up breaking after the plastic piece holding the brush banged against the rim of the sink too many times. Solution? Don't do this, just rinse to remove food debris. I purchased the Fox Run Vegetable Brush on 1st August 2013. After using them well, on August 29, 2015 I decided to buy two brushes. left (blue) in the photo, on the right the one bought in 2013. They don't have the same design. Two new ones were washed in the dishwasher and one was used to clean vegetables. The 2013 model has been washed many times in the dishwasher.
