Couldn't live without her!

This feeder gave me so much freedom! My horses are happy! No more boring habits. You are calm and content. I love that I can work with my horse any time of the day instead of waiting for his breakfast in the morning. I also travel a lot. A bale feeds my horse for 4 days. Love it!

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Expensive

Didn't work for me

Unfortunately the idea is great, but not very useful. I had it for a month and there were already holes in it. Difficult to use and set up to feed one person. At first I thought it worked fine. If it weren't over $100 I wouldn't be surprised, but for a product that's meant to save a few bucks, it's not for me.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • Low maintainability

Ready to buy more!

We bought the Freedom Feedersack last December and it has held up well through the winter and spring with no problems. It took 2 horses 24 hours most days but we took hay off the round bale to put in there. Probably 50-60 pounds every day. Ours hung from the cedar to keep it dry when it rained and dropped the hay on the ground so they had no problem reaching everything. A few days later, in the wild, the horses stopped eating hay, they went into the sack. It also calmed them down when feeding…

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Quality

2.5 weeks, no problems

I am very satisfied with this network. My horse has been wearing it for about 2.5 weeks now and so far it's working as it should with no breaks. I use it in a rubber lined feeding bowl to encourage upside down eating. I installed 2 eyebolts on the bottom of the feeder and used the included carabiners to attach it to the feeder. I pinned it to the bottom of the grid. It's hard to trim but a bunion lasts 3 days on my horse so I only have to deal with it a few times a week. Clips prevent my horse…
