I ended up buying 5 different pairs of these items in 4 different colors in about 2 weeks. All sizes 6x. (Daughter wears number 6 but I got the right size.) Washed all together in the cold and tumble dried on a low setting. The heather blue and gray have retained their original size. Persian red has declined sharply. Looks like 2-3 sizes too small. The pink-purple has shrunk a bit, but can still be worn. I returned the Persian red and left the rest. The 4 pairs we kept are my daughter's…

Think of Capris when buying.

Ignored other reviewers' warnings and bought a size up. My daughter is tiny, at 12% small. We received them and I washed and dried them straight away, my toddler tried them on and they are fine. The thickness of the fabric is great, it doesn't cut through you too easily. The length is about an inch above her ankles, shorter than I like but not by that much. The waist is a little on the big side so there are creases and twists in the crotch area and my daughter is too compulsive for the seams to

Super scratchy waist labels!

I bought for my daughter to wear under a school uniform sweater when the weather was cold. The material is very soft and fits her well. The only problem was the internal tags on the waist of the pants. If your kids hate tags like mine, get ready to slit your waist down to the hem of your pants!
