Girls' Clothing: 👚 French Toast Standard School Uniform Review

Pants are baggy. At a time when children only wear skinny jeans, tights or ripped jeans, my daughter didn't like these baggy pants, they are very dark blue, almost black, but still match the school uniform, so no complaints. We previously tried a size 16 and it was incredibly tight in the hip area. So we got this size 18 and it's very roomy, not the best but it works. Maybe a wash or two will make them a little smaller.

My daughter is 11 and a bit tall for her age, size 42 pants fit her very well, so we have two pairs of khakis. I love that they aren't low-cut so she doesn't have to worry about showing off her underwear when she bends over. I would describe them as high waisted, perfect for kids in private school who run, swing and do everything else in these pants. I really wish they had double knees, but given the price it's not entirely surprising they don't.

My daughter prefers them because of the comfortable fit. However, the seams in the fleet itch. She has sensory issues, so she's sensitive to things like that. But it's so weird that khaki pants aren't a problem at all, but when she wears navy blue she comes home with rash red thighs. At first I thought it was because the recent growth spurt made them too tight, but the next size up does the same thing. Also, they run big.
