After a year of breaking our dishwasher handle, my wife finally got me to order this replacement. It installs in minutes and our dishwasher is easy to reopen. Postponing other chores has become a joke. Oops.

Although this is the part number I need for my 13 year old Frigidaire dishwasher model #GLDB957AB1. This item does not fit in my dishwasher. There is a small hook on the back of the latch where it sits on the door (you then screw the latch in to stabilize it in the door). ok the hook on this piece is too wide for the gap on my door. Revain doesn't seem to have the right part for my door. had to order elsewhere

I was very happy with the new latch. The construction is much stronger than the original. Installation was very easy, only 9 screws had to be unscrewed. It only took a few minutes with a cordless screwdriver. It turned out after the first start of the dishwasher, after which the gasket needs to be replaced. The dishwasher was louder, the noise came from the top of the door. Also, the door with the new lock was a bit loose. After replacing the gasket, the door became much tighter and the sound…
