A normal toy if you don't have a child who hits something with a hammer. It's heavy and can definitely do damage if used to smack.

Nothing, my granddaughter liked it. He doesn't play most of the song. I used it for her cake, wrapped the bottom in cling film and lit from the back. It was a lot cheaper than the frozen cake toppers.

Ordered for my daughter's birthday. 15 minutes after she opened it, the music stopped playing. I replaced the LR44 batteries and that didn't help. I ordered another one and tried it, everything works. I took it out of the box and it no longer works. Switch flipped and turned off, nothing. Changed batteries, nothing. 3 is on the way. Hope this works

Why did I buy this for my little one? What was I thinking?! Oh god I *hate* that thing lol. He only plays one song – over and over and over again. The main downside is that it's absolutely ONE - this beast staff is very heavy and looks like it's made of glass (but I pray it wasn't!). My 3 year old can barely hold this thing and I'm just waiting for something to break. Like someone's face! On the other hand, it's absolutely beautiful how it shimmers in the light. Pros: It's beautiful and easy to use. It's a good price for now (I paid $11). I will not like my two year old! The song is cute, but it has some disadvantages, which I will list under Disadvantages. Cons - it only has one song, it plays the beat but not the lyrics, and it's quite loud. Okay, fun for toddlers, but ears bleed for parents. It is excellent.
