👜 Frye Melissa crossbody bag with zip closure Review

So disappointed. I liked the look of this bag. I have Frye boots and they are amazing. I love them as much as I wanted to love this bag! I've had my bag for a week and it's already falling apart.

Although I really like this brand, I am very surprised and disappointed by the poor workmanship of the bag I bought. This morning I noticed that the stitching connecting the strap to the bag had come undone. When I got home it was almost completely broken down. After spending $200 I expected this bag to last years instead of days!

Love this wallet. The ice color Soft Gray looks good all year round. Unlike others, I found this to be exactly the size I wanted. It fits perfectly in my wallet, Samsung Note 8 and keys. And there was room for lipstick, nail file and nail clippers. When fully loaded with the items listed, nothing sticks out. The skin is supple and the style is classic. Love it.

Why has Frye stopped using the signature lining for his bags? First they stopped using metal labels - and now they wrap bags with cheap fabric. Otherwise I like the wallet very much. The color is fantastic - and the skin is wonderful. It's a small bag, but if you're looking for a quality bag (and aren't too picky about the lining!) and want it to be a small bag, give this a try. I repeat - this is the best dark blue skin!

Wanted to love this wallet. The leather and color are fantastic but very fragile. Sangria is a rich dark red color. However, the handbag is too narrow - I don't carry much and I'm used to small handbags. It fits in a large wallet, checkbook, cell phone, lip balm and hand sanitizer bag, but it doesn't look good with all outlines showing. Also, the skin scratches like crazy. It looks worn out after a few months of wearing. Such a shame that I have to send it back.

I have a tanned Melissa Frye shoulder bag and this metallic version is just as pretty and goes perfectly with my summer sandals! These are truly the best shoulder bags I've ever owned. Don't get me wrong, I love my Dooney's, but this design by Frye Melissa can withstand so much and still has a sleek design. A simple design that goes well with everyday cute looks. I love the natural look of this vegetable tanned urea leather. However, it is noticeable that it is made of tropical leather as it does not have the graininess of North American skin and the integrity as it has several flaws but is not that far off. My wife likes it very much. The seams look very good here. In my experience, many high end leather cases like Hartman or TUMI need a seam repair from time to time. If what you see at Walmart…
