Frye Women's Melissa Medium Crossbody: Stylish and Practical Handbags and Wallets Review

Nice wallet but I bought this because I wanted a shoulder bag and the clasp on the end of the strap broke. The clasp opened, the strap came loose, and my purse fell off my shoulder. I glued the clasp with Gorilla Glue and it lasted about 2 weeks. Today the clasp came undone and my purse fell on top of me again. I have to carry it by the short handles. Very dissatisfied in this price range.

Bought gray and navy blue last summer. Beautiful colors, perfect size and finish. Not my first Frye bags and the quality remains the same. Now I've bought a black-haired calf. Something different for me and I wanted it because it was unique, not cowboy stuff. I received it today and just love it. These bags are the perfect size but the last one is amazing! Looks stylish and elegant. ornate. I can't stop touching it and I know I'll use it many times. Very very nice! Very satisfied!

Fry products should be much stronger than these. The straps are very thin, thin, the pad of the strap is curved. Literally 1/8 inch thick. Disappointed with the quality of the tape. The case is nice and roomy, but my Samsung Galaxy S10+ doesn't fit in either the inner or outer pocket, so it just has to be loose in the bag. Strange smell, burns eyes and throat, must be a dyeing or tanning process, hopefully this will pass. I've always had a high opinion of Fry but for what I paid for this bag…
