Defective batch of instant film!

I ordered a box of 20 exposures and literally all of them were badly underexposed, I think by a stop or more. Even if the flash is turned on and switched to L (brighter) mode. At first I thought something was wrong with my Instax Wide 300. But after inserting a new cartridge from a film I ordered from another site, the exposure was always correct. Obviously I can't return this product as I kept filming hoping it was just some bad apples. $20 and some captured memories down the drain. :(

B/W for school children

The digital and mobile phone camera revolution has reduced the art of photography to a minimum. Have you heard of Kodak? Have you ever put film in a camera? Have you ever developed film? Forgive my rhetoric. I'm glad to see that there is a way to capture black and white images without having to process them in a "digital" darkroom. This material is also expensive, forcing you to think and compose before shooting. Ideally, the result is something more creative than a standard shot and not buried

Always consistent quality and easy to use

This is difficult to verify as Instax Wide cameras only use one type of film so there is no way to compare films to see if another film is suitable is used. Images of different quality. Even if the camera doesn't give the BEST picture quality, this film always gives the same results and is very easy to use. I'm a photographer and use this when I do weddings to create an instant guest photo book. The white border is wide enough for guests to write a short message to the happy couple and I…

Challenging photographer but fairly good film

I personally prefer black and white film photography over color photography. I feel like black and white is more about people or feelings than clothes and colors. This film is very contrasty so I took off a star because it's difficult to get an exposure when everything is properly exposed. There are usually spots where shadows get crushed or lights get washed out. This may have more to do with the camera I'm using than the film since it's a point and shoot Instax Wide. However, much nicer…

Usually great but not lately

I have bought this product several times over the last few years. It was great and worked very well for my needs until recently. I must have received a broken backpack because all my photos were ruined. The ink leaked and to prevent it from ruining my entire camera I had to take out the pack prematurely which wasted 5 pieces of film. Other than that one incident, I've had really good luck with this product. I would have sent the package back but I bought it a month in advance for a party and…

The best instant film on the market.

If like me you're missing Fuji 100c instant film or Polaroid 600 film but don't want to buy expensive Polaroid 600 film (8 photos for $23), Fuji Instax wide angle film is the best IMO alternative. About the same size and currently around $18 for two packs of 10, 20 photos total, hard to bet compared to what else is available on the market. The only downside, and that's more true of Fuji's line of cameras. As for the film itself, Fuji currently doesn't offer any wide format film cameras with the
