looks great. When it arrived it had a label that said FUL Maverick, not Refugee. But after some research it turned out to be the same herd. I love this brand and have several of their bags. Top material, highly recommended. UPDATE: Unfortunately the stitching came undone after only a few months. Not the quality I expected from the brand.

This is a GREAT backpack! Very well constructed, with heavy material and zippers. Good padding on the back and shoulder straps. It has multiple zipped pockets on the front and sides, as well as a large zipped main compartment and a separate zipped laptop sleeve. This is my second purchase of this item after owning the original for ten or more years. Look for a good price. I paid $39 plus tax through Revain (but saw it was $75).

I have had FUL backpacks for a very long time. In fact my first has been to Europe 3-4 times, all over the Caribbean and mainly used for my mobile office. The first is still good. Bought this book bag from a clothing store around 2010-2011, used it many times like at least twice a month after graduation for me and it has lasted for many, many years, in very heavy rain, with lots of items, etc., very strong and durable book bag. I can carry over 10 pounds in this book bag, I have chosen not to exceed that 10 pounds on a regular basis so the book bag will last longer, but this book bag is amazing. The backpack I received is not the one in the picture; It is the same brand but the zippers are not the same. Yes, but the zippers are black and cheap. I have one of these backpacks and use it on my wheelchair. I was looking to replace it with a new one and liked that the two main openings were double zips - whereas the one I have on my wheelchair now has double zips on the main opening instead of the next one down.
