Description of funko POP! Albums: Queen - News of the World (MT) 53081

Funko POP! Album Queen News of the World (MT) 53081 is made in the form of one of the Queen albums. News of the World is the sixth studio album by the British rock band Queen, released on October 28, 1977. The album, as if in defiance of the then dominant punk movement (the Sex Pistols recorded their debut album in a nearby studio), sounds vain and decadent; its release finally divided the opinions of fans and critics. News of the World has sold ten million copies. His fame is mainly provided by the first two compositions: "We Will Rock You" and "We Are the Champions". The latter eventually became a sports anthem, although it was not originally written for this at all. "We Will Rock You" has been covered and remade countless times, thanks to its simple yet powerful percussion and catchy chorus, becoming something of a trademark. True, in most cases only one chorus remains from the entire text, but the song is easily guessed even without words. At Queen concerts, these two compositions always went "hand in hand", completing each concert of the group (except for the Magic Tour, where the song "Friends Will Be Friends" was performed between them). An interesting series of Funko pop appeared with covers of popular albums and characters depicted on them in the form of figures. All this action is framed in a box, inside of which there is a picture with an image of an album and a figurine attached with a screw to the wall. Everything in general looks good, but what was my disappointment when I tried in vain to open the box to get the figure. The box is sealed tightly (most likely it is firmly glued to the bottom). In the videos on youtube, I

Pros
  • Cool item to collect
Cons
  • Of course, a series of funko pop albums is more expensive than ordinary figures. And the main drawback is the inability to get the figurine out of the box.
