Easily overclockable to 3800 with MSI Carbon Z390

This RAM is FAST. With xmp it easily overclocks to 3600 MHz. Manual overclocking got me to a stable 3800MHz frequency without changing the timings. Very good RAM for the price, better than the Corsair Dominator IMO. You will not be disappointed with your purchase.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • No paint required

RGB, FAST and Affordable (32 Gig Kit 16x2)

+ Memory (32 Gig Kit) glows RGB, Nice + Memory shows numbers as expected in stock mode from motherboard readings + BETTER compatibility with motherboards X570 boards than indicated on the back of the carton. + Overall very happy with the purchase, will update at the end of January to let you know if the purchase is still a success. Remember: when installing, I used memory slots 1 and 3 to take advantage of optimization (some motherboards like MSI will tell you this, but it's no big deal). &gt…

The Trident Z Neo does not run at the advertised speed.

Trident Z Neo does not work with MSI X570 Wifi Edge Mobo. Allows me to post at 3600Mhz after enabling XMP, but stress testing my memory causes my computer to reboot after about 10 seconds. Chaser apps or games will also cause a reboot. Manual overclocking does not work. My bios is the latest version and I've tried taking out and reinstalling the small CMOS battery but to no avail. I can only get stable system operation at frequencies below 2933MHz. I am convinced that I received the wrong kit…

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Cable shorter than others

Great RAM for 3700X, MSI X570 Ace, works as advertised

Filled slots 2 and 4 in my MSI MEG X570 ACE with XMP enabled and it works as advertised with no further tweaks. I haven't tried any timings other than 3600mhz or stock cl16. As a bonus, these sticks have excellent RGB lighting. EDIT: 04/24/2020. A few weeks ago I upgraded my main computer (MSI MEG ACE X570, the one in my comment above) from x3700 to x3950 using this RAM along with my original components: MSI MEG ACE X570, Power Color Red Devil 5700X, Corsair. RM850x and 3 x 1TB Sabrent Rocket…

Runs at rated speed with B450 motherboard

I am upgrading my gaming PC one at a time and these memory modules are part of that multi-step process. I had a hard time selecting this as it wasn't specifically listed in my motherboard's supported memory. But as an avid builder, I tried it and it works. My configuration: Ryzen 9 3900X - 32GB (2X 16GB) G.Skill Trident Z Neo Series 3600MHz C 16-19-19-39 - MSI B450I Gaming Plus AC - MSI Geforce RTX 2080 Ventus OC - no overclocking, processor and memory is ramping up Rated speeds with XMP…

Great for Ryzen in computer components

Because Ryzen 3000-series processors such as the 3950x or 3900x benefit greatly from a 1:1 Infinity Fabric to RAM speed ratio, this particular set of RAM is ready to go. , is a great 32GB kit for Ryzen 3000 series systems. Infinity Fabric on AMD boards is typically around 1800MHz, although many of the $400 boards are 1833, 1866 or maybe even 1900 for Infinity Fabric -Support speed. 1800MHz Infinity Fabric correlates well with 3600MHz DDR RAM. DDR RAM actually runs at half the advertised…

Pros

Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Main Review: I'm new to PC building; So I did a lot of research to find out what it takes to build a high speed gaming/work PC. Memory (RAM) is one of the key components of any PC build, and with 3rd Gen AMD Ryzen processors (from 3700X to 3900X) I found that they put a lot of strain on RAM to get the optimal performance I would like. I bought this G.Skill Trident Z Neo (F4-3600C16D-32GTZNC) because it is specially optimized for X570 motherboards paired with Ryzen 3000 processors (source…
