Excellent shock absorbers for Crown Victoria 99

Amazing shock absorbers. Easy to install and even comes with instructions. The car starts and drives like new. Back life 2.5-3 inches.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • No instructions

Big shock! in parts

Great value for a great shock, easy to install mechanics, they were as described. Replaced the rear air shocks on my 1967 Camaro without sacrificing tire fender space.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Expensive

Big shocks! Best in Motorcycling

These are great shock absorbers that will hold a lot of weight and give you a comfortable ride in your car! I used rear Suncore 40F-30-HD Heavy Duty coil springs and this is the best way to get rid of rear flex on the Crown or Grand Marquis. I do a lot of towing and car towing with my booty, I don't do squats and that's great!

Pros
  • Best in the Niche
Cons
  • Damaged

Perfect fit for my Camaro 68 Z/28.

No manufacturer lists a spring damper for the first generation Camaro. I saw on the Camaro facebook page that a few people were using this shock and it worked for them, Gabriel 43140. The shock specs are the same as the Koni shocks I had on the car. I installed them and couldn't be happier.

Pros
  • Works great for me
Cons
  • Minor issues

They fit and work great!

They were "open boxes" and that's exactly what they were. Spilling bits on the porch when I brought them! I received the main parts and was able to buy nuts and washers at the hardware store. correctly installed. They fit and work great. I saved $$$

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • vulgarity

Driving my '99 Mercury Grand Marquis was getting really tough.

Great product if you want to make your ride tougher. May be too hard for some people. Now very little rolling in corners. Washboard roads / multiple potholes throw you sideways if you're not careful / hit them too fast. Gets rid of the Grand Marquis' "street couch" feel a bit, but improves overall handling, especially when we take the family out for a hike or vacation.

Pros
  • Heavy duty finish
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Definitely the best tag and price I've ever bought

Definitely the best tag and price I've ever bought. You don't really realize what you're missing until the first disc after installation. Took 2" for installing Panther ls and 3.5" for the same kit for P08 Vicky. The price is extremely low for such a plus in handling and loaded ride control. Comfort and ride quality are the same as the production model, but with excellent ground clearance and the ability to maintain a level stance when fully stowed.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • -

If you're looking for an inexpensive upgrade, this

Good product. Installed front and rear on a 2000 Grand Marquis. With rear coil spring modification. They are raised about 4 inches in front. And about 4 inches in the back. I now carry a 75 lb 3.5 ton floor jack, 150 lb tools and a storage bag of about 30 lbs. A 75-pound Class 3 hitch is also installed. The rear suspension is still 3 inches above the tire on level ground. Doesn't feel like riding on cloud anymore but after a few hundred miles they soften up and ride well. Installing all four…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Doubtful
