👢 Gaerne Oiled Balance Boots Review

I usually wear 10.5EE work boots. I hesitated, thinking that if they were too big, like 11, I would have to send them back. I'm pleasantly surprised that they fit really well, they almost feel like comfy slippers out of the box. Haven't ridden it yet, but shouldn't be a problem. Walking is also very pleasant.

I'm tired of forest/trail motocross boots and these boots fit me perfectly. In short, lighter and more flexible than any motocross boot I've ever had. The rubber soles feel good on the ground and I can actually walk in them comfortably! Note that there is no steel toe to make them perfect, but you can't have everything :) Buy them, you won't regret it.

Very good construction. Much better than regular MX boots reminiscent of old HiPoint or FullBore leather boots. However, the ordered size 10 is very narrow. I think I should have gone back a size up (I normally wear a size 10) but I didn't. I can't put my normal thick socks on without my feet getting pinched. I recommend ordering one size larger than you usually buy. You can always add socks!

Got them for Christmas and just tried rolling them around the yard, the top strap snapped in half for no reason . The rest of the boot appears to be of decent quality, but they're useless if you can't strap them to your foot. I tried to contact both the seller and Gaerne but got no help. I would definitely check out Alpinestars instead and will certainly never buy anything from MASS Depot again.

While these aren't motocross boots, they offer the level of protection I'm looking for, along with off-the-bike comfort and durability (yes, I just made that word on. lol but you get what I mean). I wear 10 1/2 D and buy 11, fits great, snug not loose. What can I say, boots/shoes are made in Italy. You are master. Metal buckles can cause damage in an accident, so I use nylon buckles. And they're Gore-Tex, dry feet in the rain!

Read the reviews and order based on all the reports that they are suitable for those of us with wide feet. Unfortunately this is not the case for me. The length x width of my foot is 270mm x 115mm. I ordered a size 11 (46) hoping the other reviews were true but found I couldn't sit on my feet. If you really have WIDE feet, you can choose another boot. Aside from the small issue of not being able to wear them, the boots are very well made. If you have a "normal" width foot (ie thin branches)…
