I worked as a carpenter for over 35 years and suffered from ill-fitting glasses – they never fitted, they "always bled dust” and I never felt my eyesight was as good as it should be . That's a bomb! Firstly it is nice to see when there is nothing between the eyes and the mask fits my face very well. So I can see very clearly and feel like my vision is unobstructed. I bought these goggles to work in the chemistry lab. I hoped they would match my oversized glasses; so i wouldn't have to change my old smaller glasses or stick one of the small glasses under the big one. They fit my rather large glasses. Luckily, the glare shown in this image is greatly exaggerated. Usually they are transparent. My goggles are 5 7/8 inches from hinge to hinge and they fit perfectly. too wide for her. It's difficult to measure the interior because the glasses are curved, but I find there is enough room for 6 1/4" (hinge-to-hinge) prescription glasses.
