Gam3Gear Aluminum Analog Thumbstick Xbox ONE Xbox One Review

Hits your thumb hard and you can hear the aluminum hitting the edge of the thumb hole. It's ridiculously loud like you could hear it in a whole different room with the doors closed lol. Their only plus is that they are literally eternal.

It was too slippery. The textured area on the side is not enough to maintain traction. Half the time my thumb is in contact with the top of the stick, which has a smooth surface, causing my thumb to slip and slide across the surface. You should have textured the top part as well, which would solve the problem. Avoid this product and get rubber sticks instead.

I bought these to replace mine on my Xbox One controllers after my 3 month old pup found one in his domain. I bought green and also blue. Personally, I like blue a little better, but both look really cool. Assembly is pretty easy and there are videos on how to carefully remove the 5 screws without moving any components, but basically you go slow and make sure the little screws don't fall anywhere.

It was difficult to remove the case from my controller. The T8 bolts are so tight I almost ripped them off trying to get them out. I've used these joysticks on both my PS4 and Xbox controllers and I'm happy to say they feel fantastic on both. It was as easy as plugging in and playing with an Xbox controller if you had the right screwdriver to take the controller apart. However, I encountered some issues with the PS4 controller. I bought these to replace worn out sticks on my original Xbox One S controller. Apparently I was squeezing my controller too hard because I actually ripped the rubber off the original joysticks lol.
