It's good to be different

These straps give the watch a different look. They are easy to install and come with the appropriate tools. This is from Garmin. Be careful if you're a triathlete, however, as other reviewers have pointed out that the watch isn't made for a quick change/release device.

The belt clip broke right away

Very disappointed, the small strap holding the large strap down (belt clip?) to keep it attached broke immediately. It should be the watch of an active person. I'll probably tie my watch with a twisted tie made out of a bread bag. I like the colors but this part is a bit weak. I didn't even feel that he touched anything. Damn.

Garbage! the best wearable technology

Oh my god! I didn't know strips had an expiration date. The first set installed worked fine but after about 6 months the arm fell apart. replaced. It broke after the next use. replaced. It broke before I could use it. All broke at the point of attachment. Manu knows that as well as the seller, who only has to rate 2 subcategories. Come on Revane, when will the zero rating be? Here is the main candidate.

Broken during 4.5 miles on first run after installation

When I bought them I was glad I found them in green and blue. Installed green and it only took about a week. I took it out of my swim bag and found it was broken. Luckily I bought a pair because I had to walk the next morning. I changed it to blue, went for a run and at the 4.2 mile mark I saw it was partially torn. After about 1/4 mile it fell off, completely broken. $25 junk!

Pros
  • Sturdy finish
Cons
  • Damaged

TOO EASY TO BREAK - DO NOT BUY. VERY POOR QUALITY

ATTENTION! DO NOT BUY. Very poor quality --> I bought this thinking Garmin would be of better quality. I WAS WRONG! I installed blue and it only took a day. I did a recovery run and then found one size torn. I put it in my swim bag and the next day I noticed that the other part was also completely broken. I paid $25 + tax for this poor quality product. I don't know what to do and what to buy next because I'm still using my Forerunner 910XT. But definitely not this one as it is of very poor…

Looks good and gives the 910 personality.

Over time I started to really love the look of the 910, especially as people tell me it reminds them of big early digital watches from the 1980's. There really is a certain charm to this chunky look. And wearing one of these straps really seals the deal as it makes the 910 look like the descendant of a Casio and Swatch calculator. If this is your bag, then these straps are your ticket. Made of the same material and proportions as the original straps, they come with two screwdrivers and…

  • Lots of positive vibes

  • No performance
