This GPS works really well and having Alexa along with some of my favorite apps is a huge plus. The only thing that worries me is the battery life. It's supposed to take an hour, which is a short time considering subway rides sometimes take that long to get in one direction. Unfortunately, the battery discharges in significantly less than an hour; So you have to keep it plugged in to charge almost all the time.

I had to send it back. He just couldn't keep in touch with the satellites. I often arrived at the destination before it was connected to the satellites. I really liked it when it worked, but I couldn't rely on it. I always had to use the GPS on my phone with it because it suddenly lost contact with the satellite. I would like Garmin to provide an option to use an external antenna.

Big improvement over my previous TomTom. This cheaper "upgraded" unit looks brand new to me. I especially like that it automatically connects to my home WiFi every time I drive to the garage to check and install updates before disconnecting. A big improvement over connecting GPS to PC to install updates. Has worked great on several long trips and everyday city use. Very happy with this device.
