Efficient Thermostat for Automotive Cooling

This THERMOSTAT is a must-have for anyone who is looking to improve their engine cooling system... As my tests showed, its accuracy in regulating the engine's temperature is unmatched, making it a highly efficient automotive component. I'm glad I chose this product for my car`s replacement parts. However, the installation process was a bit tricky and requires some technical knowledge. Overall, I'm satisfied with this purchase and would recommend it to any automotive enthusiast looking for…

Pros
  • Reliable and durable performance
Cons
  • Difficult to install for inexperienced users

Not Worth the Price

Automotive replacement part did not work as expected. Based on my observations the thermostat was difficult to install and failed to regulate the engine temperature properly. The only pro was its availability at a local retailer. However, the high cost of the product and its poor performance outweighed the convenience of its availability .i do not recommend this product..

Pros
  • The Gates 33006 Thermostat is made with high-quality materials that ensure its durability and longevity.
Cons
  • The Gates 33006 Thermostat is relatively expensive compared to other similar thermostats on the market.

Checked and correct!

I bought this thermostat and tested it in a pot of water on the stove with a thermometer and it started opening just when it was supposed to. For my '79 Corvette, I drilled a 1 4" hole in the thermostat flange to bleed the cooling system. Everything is fine.

Pros
  • Solid metal construction throughout
Cons
  • A few minor things
