GE Lighting 18011 65 Watt Reflector Review

One of the bulbs had a broken filler and didn't work. The seller would not accept returns. I'm waiting for a decision from the seller.

Order these bulbs arrived at GE in damaged packaging. I previously bought these lamps from another seller and they were genuine GE lamps. Looking inside the box, the bulbs look completely different. To return.

The item was described as a pack of 6. But only one pear came. I called customer service for 6 packs and they agreed to resend the item. But again only a lightbulb came. The price seemed quite high for just one bulb.

I have bought them three times and I keep replacing them because they burn out very quickly. The one I installed yesterday blew out today and is rattling. Time to try another brand. Something is wrong with these Hungarian-made GE lamps.

I bought them in March and both were dead in September. So they are 3 months old? The last GE bulb of this type lasted at least a year! ah, I should have known, because they arrived and when I shook them they made a noise that usually signals the bulb is dead; I was surprised they worked at all but would love to go back now.

The lamps I received do not match the one pictured. They came in 2 separate boxes, not a 2 pack. Also, they're not white, but reflective around the base. One bulb was broken, the other was badly crooked and barely fit in the socket. Now I have to try to give myself extra time to come back when I'm disabled and Revain should make my life easier.

WARNING! DO NOT BUY! I love to stock up on lightbulbs and have ordered 10 pack of 2. When I needed one today I found EVERY LIGHT INSIDE IS BROKEN - the sound was like a baby's rattle when unwrapped. None worked. This order was a WASTE OF MONEY. DON'T MAKE THE MISTAKE I DID!

I was looking for a lower Kelvin temperature and this is 2600K. It produces a yellowish light which I think creates a cozy atmosphere. They call it soft white, but to me they look yellowish, similar to the look of regular incandescent bulbs that many grew up with, which are often 2700K. So I thought they would be great. But that is apparently too low a spectrum for good lighting in the kitchen. I use them for a built-in glass over the kitchen sink. I tried halogen and it was too concentrated…
