Perfect for converting my old SubZero fridge freezer to LED lighting

Perfect for converting my old SubZero fridge freezer to LED lighting. I first tried the equivalent 60 watt bulbs and they were too bright. The equivalent of 40 watts is just right. I usually use warm white (2700Β°) lamps, but fluorescent lamps are ideal for this case.

Good form factor for lamps without a lampshade attached to the lamp itself

Good lamps. A little longer than expected, but still usable. 450 lumens is not very bright, which is normal for me. I have the white light version and they give off really white cool light. I'll probably go with a warmer white next time. Can't beat the price. Not sure how long they will last. The time will show.

In light of this I even recommend them for use in an aquarium lid

Using two of these bulbs as spares in a 10 gallon aquarium lid. When I bought them I hoped they would last, but was very unsure given the extreme humidity they would be exposed to. It's been 9 months and they continue to work reliably. Since I can also highly recommend them for aquariums. The aquarium is nice and bright and uses much less electricity.
