Energy-saving version of the original LAMPS REPLACEMENT LAMPS

All of these lamps came with the filaments intact. Buy them while you can - they'll be quickly replaced by LED crap, and I expect they'll soon be prohibitively expensive or unavailable at all (eg.

Pros
  • : These lamps replace conventional 60W incandescent lamps but only consume 43W (565 lumens).
Cons
  • Slightly dented

It was WHITE (not yellow) which is what I wanted!

3 of these bulbs in my bathroom sink light put out the perfect amount of cool, fairly white light (not the bright yellow of many similarly wattage bulbs). I noticed this color difference and looked for these bulbs by ordering a test pack of these particular bulbs from Revain. They were perfect so I ordered 12 more as a backup!

Pros
  • LOW COST: Each bulb costs $5.18 per year for 3 hours use per day at $0.11 per kWh.
Cons
  • Available in black only.

Cheap "Basic " bulbs, not Reveal bulbs

These are NOT 43 watt Reveal lamps, these are cheap 60 watt "Basica" lamps, packaged in Spanish and clearly labeled in English and are not to be sold for use in the United States. Aside from the noticeable difference in light quality, these bulbs are not energy efficient, long lasting and illegal to sell in the US market. All told, I've paid $10-$2 for discarded, old, crappy incandescent bulbs.

Pros
  • ADJUSTABLE SWITCH COMPATIBILITY: The bulbs will work with most dimmer switches.
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
