Candles are great, they look very realistic in the various candle holders or sconces I have them in. Remote control, you can turn it on or set it to 4 hours (there is a choice). Also, they have a nickel sized battery that comes with each candle and the battery is a bit expensive compared to the cost of 6 candles.

The candles are very nice and pretty. But as others have noted, the timer feature doesn't work for me, the candles just burn indefinitely, which is a shame. We triple checked that a timer was set for each of them. I was particularly interested in them for the timer feature, so that's disappointing. If you don't remember to manually turn them off every night, they'll just stay on and drain batteries much faster.

I was looking for small timer candles and having bought other styles of this brand I had high hopes. But the light they give off looks less natural and half of them no longer use timers. Some turn off after 6 hours, others are now constantly on. I took out the batteries and tried all possible solutions. So if you don't mind the lack of a timer function, this is good value for money. I use it indoors now but they seem waterproof enough for outdoor use.

They look amazing in the picture but don't be fooled. They're not warm white, they're cool white. I have never seen a real candle emit light of this color, it looks more like a night light. I broke all the rules with these candles and used them on the street! They are NOT waterproof but at this price I was willing to take the risk. I've used them in Halloween lanterns. The timers worked great. The only time the candles didn't work was when they got wet. I then replaced another candle until the original candle dried out and lit up again! Halloween is over, all six candles are dry and still burning! Let's see how they do in the snow this Christmas! Worth the investment!
