It took a few minutes to plug the charger into the port but once it was finally plugged in it seemed to charge normally. This is my first review because I want to warn you that it doesn't fit well and if it doesn't fit you'll have to force it in a way that frankly might damage the port (it's not for me but it looked like it it could be) which was very disturbing and if you want to avoid this I would find another seller.

So I've seen a lot of reviews talking about the data cable but not the charging cable. I'm here to tell you that this is the taste of life. I love my mod PSP and have tried other chargers in the past. and I've had good and bad luck, I'll say most of them don't fit the port like a glove, that's just the way it is, but that's definitely the point.

Every year or so I can't wait to play my old PSP games again. I don't have all the cables with me, so I took it to the store. It works great and works for both loading and transferring files. I've been using it for over a year and it has never let me down. Great for the price, well worth bringing my PSP back to life.
