I use it as a gym bag and it's fantastic. It's too small if you're carrying racquets, multiple pairs of shoes, etc., but it's ideal for a pair of trainers, a set of gym clothes, a workout log, a water bottle, and various shower essentials. Very light and the chest strap keeps it secure when you have a long walk to the car. The outer mesh pocket is ideal for small items in the shower. Much more comfortable on my back than even a small gym bag with a shoulder strap.
