Don't waste your money. These lamps worked for 5-6 months, now they are broken. and now the return window has closed. The problem is that these "street lanterns" don't have a rubber pad on the bottom of the candles, so they get wet even in the lantern.

I used once and died the next day. It uses 3 C-cell batteries. Who Uses More C-Cell Batteries? Has no remote control. Poorly. You have to pick it up and turn it upside down to turn it on. Aesthetically poor, with only two effect settings: solid-on and disco flash. I'm going to cut a hole in the top and put a remote control sized candle in it. Cost me $22. Don't waste money.

This LED candle is amazing! For reference, I needed it for my 30" tall storm lamp. There is a timer function: when I put it on a timer and turn it on for the first time out of the box, it now turns on at the same time every night, stays put Turned on for 5 hours, turns off automatically and has stopped working. not failed yet. The same every day for a week, I like it a lot! Worth the money and highly recommend!

I took off two stars, you can't put this in a clean hurricane, it looks very cheap and fake, it's obviously NOT a real candle and you can see the fake parts through the plastic candle when rotated If you plan on using this in a vase you can't see then it's fine, it will shimmer and feel real, I'd like to know that before buying although I was planning on leaving it open. If they work, they work well. If they don't work - well, they don't work. The remote control works with one of them. Other, the candle can be turned on and off manually with a switch on the bottom. However, they do not respond to the remote control. It's not about the remote and it's not about the batteries as the remote works from one of the candles. And the rest of the candles are turned on and off manually. Disappointing and literally unusable for the purpose they were bought for.

These are used in the large Restoration Hardware lights I have outdoors. It is important that the candles are made of plastic so that they do not melt in the sun and in the heat. The batteries last a long time which is great. However, do not buy them if you expect the realistic waxy look and feel that flameless candles typically have. PS candles only lasted about a year.
