🔆 GetInLight Swivel LED Puck Light Kit – ETL Listed, Recessed/Surface Mount, 4000K Bright White, Brush Nickel Finish – IN-0107-1S-SN-40 Review

I was looking for LED lighting above the kitchen sink. It needed to be plugged in and easy to install, and I wanted to be able to point it at the wall so it wouldn't shine into my daughter's bedroom. This little light marked all the boxes. It's also dimmable - it works great with a plug-in dimmer switch I happen to have on hand. So glad I bought it.

In my career as a carpenter and general contractor I have installed at least 300 washers. These are the best. I love these lights because they are of professional quality: full metal housing, glass lens, mechanically swivelling, very bright when not dimmed, pluggable and, above all, the color spectrum. I found them when I was looking for temperatures of 4000K. It is difficult to find puck lights with temperatures above 3000K that are not made of plastic. If I had a problem I would say they are…

I bought a set of 3 and also bought 2 more individual lights for a total of 5 lights on the other side). I liked that they were either surface mount or recessed. I installed it as an embeddable. I bought a 4000K bright light, it was too bright and I had to use a dimmer. I used a "LUTRON-TGCL-153PH-WH" wall switch dimmer purchased from Lowes and it works great to dim the light by about 80%. REVISION - 19 MAY 2018. (from Merkmak) because I cannot dim any light bulb (GetInLight, dimmable LED or incandescent lamp). Also, the +/- on the Merkmak switches themselves don't even attempt to dim the lights (previous attempts at dimming have been via the app).
