I have bought many Gildan Charcoal shirts to replace the old heavy Charcoal shirts that I wear as tank tops. I prefer a darker color because of the rough spots on the whites. I'm not good at bleaching, that's it. However, Gildan shirts are ringspun as described, but they are not as spiky as other shirts I have. Not necessarily a problem, but something to consider. I love cheap shirts with no pockets or graphics. I'm not a super tall or super fat man, but nature cursed me with an oversized torso. I'm forced to look for shirts that are a little longer than the average budget shirts (e.g. those sold in packs of 5). body when I go to public places. They've survived multiple washes and all the stitching seems to be in the right places.

I bought 2 of these shirts for my husband to wear at home and as pajama shirts. 5 for $10 at Southern California t-shirt stores. Label says it's 100% cotton. After washing and drying they shrink a bit. That is good for me. The small size is perfect for someone who is 5ft 5in and weighs 130lbs. .The shirts have tags but they were cut very cleanly. I'm 175 and 6ft 4in tall. I often buy medium and large shoes depending on the brand, but I usually try them on in the store to be sure. I took a chance using the environment for one of these and it works great. It's a little tight, but not enough to prevent me from wearing it. I have a small tummy that moves away from working out but hardly ever shows up. If you like tight clothes choose Medium if you are my size. I don't know what the plus size looks like, but I bet it would sit pretty loose…
