🕒 Gilden 22-24mm Calfskin Watch Band - TS62, 1522mm Length Review

Excellent quality, expertly made and finished. If you are looking for a thick, durable watch band that will hold larger, thicker, heavier watches, then this is the band I would recommend. As an experienced leather maker in my formative years, take my word for it and buy it, you won't be disappointed!

My Citizen is my 'Goto', my 'Old Faithful' and I always use it as a travel watch and over the years I've tried everything to make so much of to cover this planet as possible. Well it's time for me to get a new band and this band didn't disappoint one bit. Ten years later, my Citizen looks like a new watch. The tape is of good quality and thickness and is very durable. Very thick, strong and initially stiff but becomes more flexible with use. This is exactly what I was looking for. It's very thick and stiff around the pin hole, doesn't flex or slip after tightening the watch, connects very firmly to my 22mm Citizen. This is usually my area of complaints with other third party leather straps. The only improvement I can think of is to reduce the size/weight of the buckle a bit, which is overkill at the moment.

I have been wearing this harness every day for 6 months. I only take them off every 14 days to charge the watch and clean it while showering. I run 8 to 30 miles a week. I even used this group for a swim in the pool all summer. I work in the oil industry, where everything is complicated. Hands down, this is the most durable and comfortable harness I've ever had. I even intend to buy a new one soon. Can buy two. I hope this company continues to make this product and never compromises on quality!

Really nice quality strap. It fits like a glove and I really like the color. I attached it to my Hypertech MTM with thick grub screws and it fits snugly and securely. It's a bit stiff out of the box but that's to be expected, I'm sure it will soften up after some use. Overall I'm happy with it and will probably buy another one for my other watches. For the price you can't go wrong considering other leather straps cost double or triple the price of a lower quality product.

The kit includes two 24mm pins and 2 holders (one fixed, one free). For reference, the total length installed on Suunto is about 10.5 inches. quite flexible and fits my wrist well. There was no strong chemical odor coming from the box and there were no stains or dye bleeds. all clear indications that this is NOT a cheap leather
