I only use these machines. This is the third one. It takes 3-4 years, "death" is the same for everyone - the plastic becomes brittle and the narrowest point of the machine breaks: the mustache, on which the blade latch is located. I haven't tried anything in 25 years of shaving. From conventional machines to straight razors and all kinds of electric razors. But this one has stuck out to me the most so far. The reason is simple, first we shave without turning on the razor, i. E. as with a conventional machine, in this mode we remove all long hairs. This is my second razor, similar to the new Gillette Fusion5 ProShield Power razor handle for men. And the blades are great too. The power handle makes your shave smooth. Doesn't pull hair. It's just a comfortable shave. I shave every other day and my blades last at least 3 weeks. Maybe even longer. I really like this razor, I recommend it to everyone

I didn't want to buy a handle separately but Gillett stopped supplying them with razors so I had to pay $13 for a handle and blade. The blade that came with it was dull or slightly wrong because I've only used it twice and both times it cut my chin and I had to go over the other shaved areas multiple times. So I bought a pack of 8 blades labeled Gillett and now I'm back to normal.
