    Gillette Sensor Excel replacement razor cartridges

    I used to buy them in a regular store. Now they are promoting 4 and 5 reed rods in earnest. I personally think they overdid it. Two blades is the perfect amount, easy to clean, thin head so you know exactly where the cutting edge is, ideal for shaving around a goatee like mine. Before purchasing I used a 5 blade system that I received for free in the mail and then used a disposable 2 blade system.     Two blades have always done their job

    I have been using these razors for over 25 years and have no complaints. I just removed the very first handle I've ever gotten from these razors. Such a shame. Who needs three, four or five blades? No one. It's just a gimmick, a real sales trick to make you think you're getting something special.     Consider them good quality Gillette approved general purpose blades

    The reality is no one knows where these blades are made. The box says "Proctor & Gamble, UK" not "Made in". almost guaranteed NOT to be made in the UK (as the seller claims). I bought another one that said it was made in Poland (EU must be good right?) and got the exact same "Proctor & Gamble UK" with no indication of where it was made.     I waited a bit before posting this review to compare the shave with these blades and the rest of the set of genuine Gillette store bought blades that I still have. and store-bought ones (made in the USA) delivered a better shave every time. I regret buying 2 boxes as it's almost impossible to get a close shave that lasts more than 1 or 2 times (compared to 3-5 times in the US).     I still use my Sensor Excel razor and have not found anything to replace the close shave I get from them. I tried the new multi-blade razors but they seemed too big and clumsy.
