Children's hiking and snowshoes have arrived safely. The quality of the shoe is excellent, it is easy to put on and take off with a strong velcro strap. Shoes are durable and tough in cold weather. The shoes keep my son's feet warm and comfortable. the spike on the sole of the boot can be easily opened by hand and prevents slipping on the icy surface. The metal claw piece is roughly flush with the sole of the boots so it makes noise when you walk down the street but not a problem in snow.

These are very large shoes. My 9 year old says it's comfortable and not heavy at all to wear to school all day. I think he's right because when you hold it in your hand it's pretty light. it is also unlined. I bought it as an alternative when it's really cold outside and the sneakers just don't fit.
