I was overwhelmed by the rating and ended up giving it 4 stars. The product itself is excellent and arrived safe and sound. The issue others have mentioned is that the product reads like a gift box and 6 come in two boxes of 6. I looked at the 4 jar gift box and the reviewers showed the jars individually wrapped. This is by far the best glass for tasting alcohol. Originally made for whisky, it is perfectly suitable for tasting most other spirits. Pretty Drinks actually taste better in a Glencairn than in a Rocks glass, tumbler or even a snifter. Not to mention it's quite a sexy glass. Beautiful transparent crystal with a heavy base. Shake the bowl quickly and you'll see your whiskey's thick, oily legs and smell its sweet aroma. No rock or snifter will give you the pleasure that Glencairn can.

Given the low price of a dozen of these whiskeys I was skeptical that these were genuine Glencairns and not a cheap imitation. But they came in boxes with a registered trademark and they have an engraving on the bottom. The quality is good, I didn't notice any defects. I did a whiskey tasting with two famous writers/editors and they were pleased with them. The ultimate test came when one of them fell off the porch railing, falling 14 feet.
