A good product. - Professional video accessories

When you are on a budget. And if you're looking for smooth shots, go for it. Finding the center point is a bit difficult at first, but you can get results on any clip. I am using a Canon t6i with a Samayang 14mm lens. It works out.

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Too heavy! - Professional video accessories

This product was too heavy for a petite woman! My husband even had a hard time keeping him up for long periods of time (and he's a powerlifter!). It should be used as a stabilizer for wedding videos. Of course, it's not intended for long-term storage. He was also very sensitive when trying to rock him. What worked for my husband didn't work for me.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Negative impression

Well built but difficult to balance

This is my first experience with a sliding camera so I don't really have a point of reference. It looks very good, is well packaged and has a good reputation. The reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is because I couldn't find the perfect balance. I understand this is largely a user issue, but I think the Glidecam could have more accurate movements. Apparently this model fits and I will get it. I hope there won't be any balancing issues.

Pros
  • Hands free
Cons
  • Very expensive

No small adjustments, complex setup.

I bought this with the intention of switching from gimbal to skid cameras. BUT I will wait until I have money for a more expensive model. Below is a list of pros and cons. do not get me wrong. it has a place in the market. but that is by no means my market. Cons: - There are no minor fixes included. You need to adjust your camera body on the slider and slowly adjust it in small increments - there's no way to dynamically and statically balance this. That's why the Slipcam spins wildly when you…

Pros
  • High test scores for grip and durability
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options
