I gave two stars because the markers were more than half empty when I received them today. 😥 They have a great color and are beautiful on paper. I'm a teacher so I like pretty markers. I just feel like I was scammed because I had very little ink in each marker. I was also planning to buy a pack for my daughter but am now considering trying a different one. I paint for adults and I need glitter pens to highlight things. I bought them because I thought they would work. However, they are markers rather than markers. You have to push the tip down to make the ink flow and it comes out in big puddles that you spread. They also take a long time to dry and the shine isn't really that noticeable. I'm surprised these markers got such a high rating for being 1/4 full of barley. They work great. You are shiny. I'm looking for a glitter marker that has the same glitter color as the ink. All of the glitter markers appear to have a silver sheen in each color. These markers are just silver glitter in colored ink, so moving the paper around to see the glitter will give you that silver glitter. These are by far the worst markers I have ever bought. I primed about 6 of these (the colors I needed) as soon as I got them and while they weren't as good as other brands I've bought, they worked. Now (less than 2 months after receipt) the other colors are not primed (like dried up). I still have the markers I've bought over the last few years (the set was bought in April 2019) some colors of which still work (the ones that don't work because they're empty, not because they're dry). I allow grandchildren from the age of three to use them with supervision. Very fun and colorful to use. Believe me they are water based but once dry they become permanent. I first found them at the Dollar Tree and they quickly became a staple. I've been using them for a few years now. They are no longer sold at my local Dollar Trees, so I'm very glad they sell them at Revain too. They are highly pigmented and very shiny!
