🐟 Enhanced Global 4.5" Fish Bone Tweezers with Advanced Optimization Review

Everything Global makes is amazing, including these tweezers. I was impressed by the thickness of the steel and how tightly the "tweezers" closed. I might use them on my wife's eyebrows when I'm done brushing the salmon fillet to get rid of the sting.

I have been looking for this product for about 6 months to complete my Global knife set. I've been looking for this product at retail stores like William Sonoma and Macy's for a long time but they were out of stock. When I found this at Revain, I knew I'd hit the jackpot. Although slightly different from those on display in store, this Global product is essential when working with fish.

Product is advertised as "Made in Japan". It was labeled 'Made in China' when it was delivered, felt and had quality. Beware!

Easy to use and grips bones very well. I like that it's big and easy to find and hold even when my hands are wet or slippery after cleaning and butchering fish. If I ever need a spare or a second pair I will definitely buy another one.

The dots in the image are *drawn*, not indented as expected. At first I thought the picture was just misleading, but when I go back and read the description after receiving it, I see that it clearly says "dimples for a secure fit". Either they're lying on purpose or they've updated the design to lower the cost - either way I'm not too happy given the price. Bought for my husband to peel grilled fish. It does the perfect job. Like all Global products, it is very well made. The only weird thing about these tweezers is that they have dots painted on them instead of the usual indentations like their knives.
