They are quite bright for their size. I bought a 4 piece 100 watt unit to use in my living room. I bought them in March and put in my last bulb in December. I needed 6 bulbs for the lights I have. It was the best price compared to others when bought in 8 pack. I don't know how long they will last because I installed them today. They look great and are very bright. Haven't hooked them up to a dimmer yet but will soon. Just a word to others, I used a cloth to take them out of the box and install them.
