I really like these bowls. I bought them for shrimp and sauce. Large bowl for 50 large shrimp. The small bowl will hold about 1/2 cup of the sauce. Ideal for small parties. I also bought 2 identical crystal trays which look amazing with the bowl.

My daughter finally found the small rimmed bowl I was looking for for Christmas and was so thrilled I ordered a second course. Ideal size for small gatherings: fruit/sauces, vegetables/sauces, fries/sauces, crackers/cheese cubes. Perfect size Nothing extra for fun. I used it for chocolate covered strawberries without a central sauce bowl. Nothing falls out deep enough and shows up nicely. Love it and may order a 3rd!

I ordered two of these, good thing they were only $9.99 each or they would have been returned. As I said, a great size for serving fries and gravy if you're on a diet or a budget conscious host. Then another one is this one. These serving pieces make a much better use as a serving vessel, maybe for hot veggies etc. I have to admit the size is good if you're limited on table space.
