I mainly use lights for accent and fill light in portraits. This gives me the opportunity to reduce the weight on the luggage rack. Very useful in crowded venues.

So far I am satisfied with this product. This allows me to reduce the weight on the light stand and lower the body. The only flaw is where the cable attaches. It is mounted on the back. So if you're using an S mount, you can't move it as far forward as you'd like. This doesn't reduce performance much, but won't work for those with two adb2 mounts. I believe Godox makes a cable with a different layout. Overall I like this product.

I bought this flash to make it easier to use the AD200 on the red carpet and at events. The cord is very long, but you will learn how to adjust it once you become familiar with the extension cord. I ordered a ring flash because I was still getting a more intense streak of light all over my body. I hope this will soften and avoid hardship. Otherwise, I like being able to slip the heavier AD200 in my pocket and still get longer battery life and performance.

I love my AD200 Pro and now that I have an EC200 extender I use it almost every day. This made overhead flash photography easier. I used to have a tricky setup to keep the flash for direct lighting. With this extension, I can do it without real weight. I use the AD200 Pro in a case that attaches to the side of my stand and the extension cord is long enough to get to where I need it.
